Factories Corporation of Jamaica invites application from suitable qualified persons to fill the position of SALES EXECUTIVE.
JOB SUMMARY:
- Ensure marketing and sales of new space is at the desired level as stated by Management.
- Develop new sales opportunities for business with prospective clients.
- Foster relationships with critical stakeholders to achieve company objectives.
- Provide effective communication to new and existing clients as required.
- Design and develop strategic sale and marketing plan with a view to effectively capture the market being targeted by FCJ.
- Design and develop strategic communication programme in alignment with sales and marketing strategy.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
(a) Education:
- – Marketing and Sales or related field
(b) Experience:
- Five (5) years’ experience in Sales and Marketing, including customer service management
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(a) Business Development
- Identify and generate new business initiatives with Management in line with the Corporate/ Strategic objectives of the company.
- Execute relevant communications, commercial and corporate strategies to engage new clientele for vacant spaces to achieve targeted annual occupancy rate and assist other departments to market the company’s products and services.
- Create networks and establish relationships with community/ industry stakeholders in order to establish a consistent flow of referrals and new business opportunities for the company.
- Generate prospective lists of new clients, conduct analysis to identify and report the preferences of target markets.
- Process and document client application forms, prepare submissions and other relevant documents and liaise with relevant departments to finalize client occupancy for Management and Board consideration.
(b) Prospect Client Relationship Management and Communications
- Serve as a point of contact for the prospective client.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective clients and all internal departments to deliver quality services.
- Consultations and engage in business travel (to client and sites) on a regular basis.
- Maintain contact with all prospective clients at the various locations and document and report concerns for Management attention Keep abreast of market developments to inform discussions with potential clients and understand implications for company goals.
- Provide consultative support to departments to retain tenancy in good standing within company.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS:
- Must have a current driver’s licence and own a reliable motor vehicle.
- Required to travel extensively and work outside working hours.
